CFA Society San Francisco is inaugurating a new day-long event addressing important issues, offering best practices and investigating new ideas for university endowments and private foundations ranging from investment strategy, governance, costs, and board participation.

Defining Investment Success for Endowments & Foundations

A three-person panel discussion regarding elements of success; e.g., beating the index, peer group rankings, meeting spending needs, optimize the mission, meeting donor expectations, led by a moderator.  Participants include investment committee members or finance officers.

The Other Challenges of Being a Long-Term Investor

A single speaker outlining key findings and recommendations regarding governance and board-related issues.  Speaker is an expert in governance and board structure.
